This song is the first of many of Charise’s released originals that is more her general writing style/aesthetic (rather than revolving around a season), so she’s super pumped!!

AYA’s Take Chicago 2026: #NoFilter

Alongside DJ Jacob Butler, Charise was honored to have spent the night performing for a group of survivors, physicians, and supporters in the Chicagoland area for AYAs Take Chicago 2026: #NoFilter.

Charise’s first original recorded song, “Strings of Lights,” is out now on all streaming platforms!

Written and performed by Charise herself, this song has been in the works since 2019, and touches on topics of love, loss, healing, all while maintaining a wintery, holiday feeling.

June 2025, Charise was featured as “Layla” in the short film Ditz that premiered at the Panther City Film Festival in Hurst, TX.

Winner of TCU College of Fine Arts Academic & Creative Excellence Award

Spring of 2025, Charise was one of three theatre seniors to be awarded the TCU College of Fine Arts Academic & Creative Excellence Award. Candidates are initially selected by having the top five cumulative GPAs in their respective department, then the Faculty determines the recipients through their participation in classes, competitions, concerts, exhibitions, performances, and overall “excellence within the program.”
